MPSD Literacy Coaches Attend Plain Talk About Literacy Conference

Madison Parish school literacy coaches attended the Plain Talk About Literacy Conference recently in New Orleans, Louisiana. One featured speaker was Dr. Kymyona Burk, former state literacy director at the Mississippi Department of Education. She also led the implementation of Mississippi’s Literacy-Based Promation Act in which 24+ states now model their literacy plans.
