Madison High School Celebrates “B” Rating Under Principal Dr. Revels

Madison High School is celebrating a major milestone this year as the campus earns a “B” rating, marking significant progress in academic performance, school culture, and student achievement. At the center of this accomplishment is Principal Dr. Revels, whose leadership has helped guide the school through a period of focused improvement and renewed community pride.
Since taking the helm, Dr. Revels has emphasized high expectations, consistent support for teachers, and expanded opportunities for students. Faculty members credit the principal’s collaborative approach with strengthening instructional practices and building a culture where both students and staff feel empowered to succeed.
“This rating reflects the hard work of our entire school community,” Dr. Revels said during a campus celebration. “Our students showed determination, our teachers demonstrated dedication, and our families stood with us every step of the way.”
The improved rating highlights gains in key areas such as student growth, graduation readiness, and engagement in advanced coursework. Programs supporting tutoring, mentoring, and college and career preparation have played a central role in the school’s progress.
Students joined faculty and families in commemorating the achievement with a schoolwide event recognizing academic excellence and community partnership. Performances, recognitions, and student showcases underscored the shared effort behind the milestone.
School leaders say the “B” rating is both a celebration and a motivation. Dr. Revels affirmed that Madison High School will continue building on its momentum, with a focus on innovation, equity, and preparing every student for future success.
“With continued commitment and unity,” Dr. Revels noted, “the best for Madison High School is still ahead.”
