Madison Middle School Captures Title at ULM Junior High State Tournament

Madison Middle School claimed the championship at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Junior High State Tournament, finishing an outstanding season with a performance defined by teamwork, discipline, and determination.
Led by Head Coach Bryan Vaughn, the Madison team demonstrated consistent execution and resilience throughout the tournament, earning victories against a strong field of competitors from across the state. Their championship performance showcased both athletic skill and strong character.
Coach Vaughn praised his players’ commitment and growth over the season. “This group believed in each other from day one,” Vaughn said. “They worked hard, stayed focused, and earned this moment.”
The success of the program has also been supported by Principal Kalvin Bowman, whose encouragement and leadership have helped foster a culture of excellence at Madison Middle School. Bowman emphasized the importance of student achievement in all areas of school life.
“Our students represented Madison with pride and integrity,” Bowman said. “We are extremely proud of their accomplishment and the example they set.”
