Wright Elementary School Hosts Stars and Math Academic Night

Wright Elementary School recently hosted its Stars and Math Academic Night, an engaging and educational event designed to celebrate student achievement and strengthen family involvement in learning. The event was led under the guidance of School Principal Dr. Pittman, whose commitment to academic excellence and family engagement continues to shape meaningful learning experiences for students.
Families, students, and staff gathered for an evening filled with hands-on activities focused on reading and mathematics. Classrooms were transformed into interactive learning spaces where students showcased their skills, explored math games, and participated in Stars-aligned activities that reinforced grade-level standards in a fun and supportive environment.
The academic night emphasized the importance of early literacy and strong math foundations, especially for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Teachers worked closely with families, providing strategies and resources that parents could use at home to support their children’s academic growth and success.
Dr. Pittman welcomed families and expressed appreciation for their continued support, highlighting the vital role that collaboration between home and school plays in student achievement. The event reflected Wright Elementary School’s dedication to nurturing confident learners while fostering a strong sense of community.
Wright Elementary School extends sincere thanks to the teachers, staff, and families who made the Stars and Math Academic Night a success. Together, the school community continues to inspire curiosity, learning, and academic excellence for every student.
