🐆💙💛 Madison High School Track & Field Dominates the District! 💛💙🐆

Madison High School’s Track & Field team delivered an electrifying performance at the district meet, showcasing determination, talent, and true Jaguar pride. Competing against some of the best in the region, our student-athletes rose to the challenge and brought home impressive finishes across multiple events.
Leading the charge was Mercedes Jackson, who soared to victory and claimed the title of District Champion in Long Jump, setting the tone for a powerful day on the field. Myron Williams also had an outstanding performance, earning the prestigious Sharplin Award—recognizing him as the Best Track Athlete with a Positive Attitude—while also securing 2nd Place Overall in the Boys 200m dash.
The Jaguars continued to shine in field events, with Bryan Vaughn taking 2nd Place in High Jump, and Deveon Oneal earning 3rd Place in Shotput, contributing valuable points to the team’s overall success.
On the track, teamwork and speed were on full display as the Boys 4x2 Relay Team—comprised of Myron Williams, Josh, Dawson, and Antonio—powered their way to a strong 3rd Place finish, demonstrating unity, precision, and determination.
This success would not be possible without the dedication and leadership of our incredible coaching staff. Their commitment to pushing, guiding, and believing in our athletes continues to make a lasting impact both on and off the field.
Madison High School is proud of these outstanding achievements and the continued excellence of our Track & Field program. As the season moves forward, one thing is certain—Jaguar Nation is built different.
Keep striving. Keep grinding. Keep making history. 🐆✨
